Job description

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our busy team at Trim Editing on a part-time basis.

Location: Whitechapel, London E1 (Hybrid remote and/or office-based role)
Contract: Part-time (or freelance) – 3 days per week
Salary: Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience

Minimum 5 years’ professional experience as a bookkeeper

Software proficiency: MS Office (including Excel), Google, cloud-based accounting software (ideally including Xero)

Advantageous: Experience in film production or film post-production businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for providing financial analysis, management reporting, and budgeting support to ensure the company’s continued stability, growth, and profitability.

  • Bookkeeping, including preparing payment runs and prep for payroll
  • Credit control
  • Management Support, including assisting in the production of budgets and forecasts
  • Cost Management
  • Compliance & Control, including assisting with VAT returns
  • Systems & Process Improvement
