Job summary

A mental health service provider in Exeter is seeking a motivated Band 5 Assistant Psychologist to join their multidisciplinary team. The role involves assisting with psychological assessments, supporting delivery of interventions, and contributing to care planning under supervision. Qualifications

  • Experience of working with people experiencing mental health difficulties, preferably within an NHS or similar setting.
  • Clinical experience and/or supervised practise working with people with autism/ADHD.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with psychological assessments, including clinical interviews and the use of psychometric measures.
  • Support the delivery of psychologically informed interventions, both individually and in group settings.
  • Contribute to care planning, risk assessment, and outcome monitoring.

Education

Undergraduate degree in Psychology (or equivalent)
