Part-time Activities Coordinator – Manor Park Care Home

Hours: 20 hours per week
Salary: £12.36 per hour
Shift pattern: 10am‑4pm, 4 days per week, including alternate weekend working

Based in the heart of Malton, Manor Park Care Home is a brand‑new, purpose‑built facility offering exceptional residential, nursing, and dementia care. We are now seeking a creative and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our opening team and help shape a meaningful and enriching lifestyle programme for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance the wellbeing and quality of life of residents through engaging, person‑centred activities.
• Design and deliver a varied programme that promotes physical, emotional, and social wellbeing.
• Plan and lead a diverse range of activities, including arts and crafts, music, games, gardening, exercise sessions, and themed events.
• Build strong relationships with residents to understand their interests, preferences, and abilities.
• Organise special events such as birthday celebrations, seasonal parties, and visits from entertainers.
• Support residents living with dementia through tailored sensory and cognitive activities.
• Coordinate outings and community engagement opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of participation and feedback to continuously improve the activity programme.
• Work collaboratively with care staff and families to ensure activities are inclusive and meaningful.
