Overview

Role – Part 2 Architect

Location – Essex

Salary – £28 - £32K

Our client, a busy studio based in Essex is looking for a Part 2 Architect to join their growing team. The role offers the chance to be involved across all RIBA stages, from early concept through to technical design and delivery. They work across a variety of sectors including residential, commercial, mixed-use and community projects. The team delivers schemes from early design through to technical stages and construction, with an emphasis on practical, well-considered design and sustainable outcomes. They offer a supportive and sociable environment, with modern studios and good resources for developing both design and technical skills.

Responsibilities
  • Developing designs and preparing drawings for planning and construction
  • Producing 3D visuals and supporting BIM workflows
  • Attending site visits and assisting with coordination
  • Liaising with consultants, contractors, and local authorities
  • Supporting project management while contributing design ideas in reviews
  • Helping guide more junior colleagues where needed
Key Requirements
  • Completed Part I and Part II
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, with Revit being a bonus
  • Strong design, presentation and communication skills
  • Good knowledge of UK planning policy and building regulations
  • A collaborative and proactive approach
  • The right to work in the UK
