A parking service provider is seeking a dedicated Parking Attendant for their site in Retford. Overview

We currently have an opportunity for a Parking Attendant at our site in Markham Moor, Retford.

Responsibilities
  • Undertaking regular patrols of the car park.
  • Onsite cleaning duties.
  • Issuing the appropriate enforcement notice to vehicles, which contravene the onsite regulations.
  • Customer service assisting with queries/complaints.
  • Frontline machine maintenance.
  • General onsite admin.
  • Receiving trucks (assisting with payments in the new system).
  • Monitoring incoming trucks (i.e. parking regulations).
  • Report any maintenance concerns.
  • Report any HSSE incidents to ECP or Emergency Services.
  • Respond/Assist with customer queries/complaints.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Good communication skills both verbal and in writing.
  • Good Customer service skills.
  • Good numerical skills.
  • Good technical experience and ability to use smartphones and / or PDA’s.
  • The ability to deal with conflict whilst remaining calm and polite at all times.
  • The ability to work under their own initiative and self-motivate.
  • Accuracy and attention detail.
  • Awareness of Health and Safety.
Role details
  • The role is full-time for 40 hours per week on a rota basis.
  • Typical schedule: Week One 14:00-22:00; Week Two 22:00-06:00.
  • The successful candidate will need to be flexible as the rota can change to suit business needs.
  • The rate of pay is £12.21 per hour / £14.30 per hour night rate.
  • The role will be subject to references and DBS check. Full training will be provided.
