Job summary

DPD Group in Gloucester is seeking a Customer Service Advisor for a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will assist both internal and external customers with parcel collection or delivery and collaborate with Drivers and Operations Managers to identify and resolve issues.

The role offers a salary up to £25,528.04 per annum with benefits. Hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00–18:30, with occasional Saturdays (1 out of 4).

• Proven experience in a fast paced customer service environment.
• Strong communication skills with confident telephone manner.
• Polite, professional and able to go the extra mile to exceed customer expectations.
• Excellent administration skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office programmes.
• Demonstrate self-motivation and initiative to effectively problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Support internal and external customers regarding parcel collection or delivery.
• Work with Drivers, Shift Managers and Operations Managers to identify issues and resolve them.
• Answer queries about delivery status and provide Proof of Delivery (POD).
• Conduct investigations for missing parcels and resolve delivery disputes.
