Overview

Family Paralegal to work in the Family Law Department, Public Law Team at our Newport Street office. Location: Newport Street. Hours: 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday with a 1 hour lunch. Salary: Negotiable depending upon experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within a Family Law department. The position may involve travel to courts, meetings and other offices; therefore, the ideal candidate would have a car available for work use. Ongoing training, guidance and support from the team is provided. Initial training will be conducted at our Bury office, so the ability to travel to/from Bury is required in the first instance.

Job role

Working within a busy office with a friendly team of people, you will be expected to carry out the following duties:

  • Arranging appointments and meetings
  • Telephone contact with clients and outside agencies
  • Diary management
  • Prepare bundles
  • Client contact
  • Use of CCMS would be an advantage
