Job summary

A financial services firm in London City Centre is looking for a Paralegal for a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role involves supporting a collaborative legal team with fundraising, corporate matters, and various legal queries. Candidates should have an LPC or Law Degree and 1-2 years of paralegal experience in Financial Services.

Qualifications

• Must have an LPC or at the very least a Law Degree.
• 1-2 years paralegalling experience at either a Law Firm or in-house within a Financial Services firm.
• Exposure to Financial Services.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Attending board meetings, drafting board minutes, and organizing board meetings.
• Providing company secretarial assistance where necessary.
• Researching current legal issues and assisting with horizon scanning.
• Assisting with any ad-hoc legal queries.

The Client: Alternative Asset Manager

The Location: London City Centre

A great opportunity to join a collaborative team, reporting directly into the Head of Legal. Broad position providing support and assistance to the legal team on fundraising and launch activities, whilst working on corporate & commercial matters.

Prior Experience / Qualifications

• 1-2 years paralegalling experience at either a Law Firm or in-house within a Financial Services firm
• Financial Services exposure
