Deeside Timberframe, one of the UK’s leading timberframe design, manufacture and installation companies, have an opportunity for a Panel Fabricator to join their expanding team.

Overview:

Based at our manufacturing facility in Throsk, Stirling our Panel Fabricators assist in the manufacture of panels, floor and roof cassettes for timber frame buildings.

Ideally candidates will have previous experience within the timber frame industry or will have a joinery background.

Responsibilities:

  • Assembling timber frame panels and floor/roof cassettes
  • Working indoors at a bench or outside on tasks as required
  • Using appropriate power tools
  • Maintaining good housekeeping within work area
  • Adhering to health and safety policy and procedures within the factory environment

Required:

  • A basic understating of fabrication drawings
  • Good hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to work successfully as part of a team

Note the role will involve manual handling (lengths of timber and sheets of boarding), stretching and kneeling.
