Role Summary and Impact

As an Account Director specialising in Paid Search and Amazon Advertising, you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end coordination and delivery of campaigns across Amazon Ads (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and DSP) and Google Ads for TCCC.

You will act as the main client point of contact, ensure flawless operational delivery, and drive innovation across both ecosystems.

Success in this role requires strong leadership, initiative, and the ability to establish efficient ways of working across hybrid, multi‑market teams.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Management

  • Own the quality and performance of all Amazon and Paid Search output, both client‑facing and operational.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices across both Google Ads and Amazon Ads (SP, SB, DSP).
  • Consistently deliver against performance KPIs, proactively identifying opportunities to drive excellence and best in class activation for TCCC.
  • Develop a strategic understanding of TCCC’s business and KPIs, proactively identifying opportunities, trends, and new platform capabilities.
  • Lead on the design and evolution of forward‑thinking activation approaches across Amazon and Google.

Client & Partner Management

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor across both Amazon and Google channels.
  • Communicate confidently beyond your immediate remit, providing useful insights and guidance to senior stakeholders.
  • Advise internal teams and external partners on industry trends and platform developments, translating implications into actionable recommendations.
  • Monitor TCCC’s competitive environment across retail media and search to shape strategic solutions.

People Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the competencies of a hybrid team across markets, ensuring continuous upskilling.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, initiative, and excellence in execution.
  • Oversee junior team members’ workloads, ensuring prioritisation and timely delivery against all deadlines.

Operational Excellence

  • Establish and refine strong ways of working across markets and platforms, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
  • Champion process improvements and automation through scripts, tooling, and third‑party integrations across Amazon and Google.
  • Oversee adherence to financial processes, forecasting, and reconciliations.
  • Support the development of new service opportunities and revenue streams.

About You

  • 5+ years’ experience in Amazon Ads (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and DSP) with a strong grasp of retail media performance levers.
  • Solid experience across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, including setup, optimisation and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of both search and retail media’s strategic and tactical applications in full‑funnel digital marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams, developing talent, and establishing robust ways of working.
  • Strong project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable leading hybrid, multi‑market teams and collaborating with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Proactive, solutions‑oriented, collaborative – someone who takes initiative rather than waiting for direction.
