Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with NMC RN Child qualification.
• Experience in HDU or Critical Care.
• Proficient in Paediatric Physical Assessments.
• Current APLS or EPALS certification.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
• Demonstrated commitment to Continuous Professional Development.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible clinical presence and act as role model.
• Support assessment and management of acutely unwell paediatric patients.
• Coordinate resources and work closely with Duty Managers.
• Participate in the PICU step-down process.
• Be part of the Hospital at Night Team for patient responses.
• Support ward staff in challenging situations.
