A regional healthcare organization is seeking a full-time Physiotherapist to support children and young people with developmental needs in East Berkshire. The ideal candidate is passionate and qualified, with excellent communication skills. The role offers flexibility, opportunities for professional development, and a supportive team environment. We have a new and exciting opportunity for a full time band 5 Physiotherapist to join our team based in East Berkshire.
You will have an interest in developing skills to support children and young people and will be supported by an experienced team of Physiotherapists to develop your skill set and autonomy in working with children and young people.
You will need to be enthusiastic, demonstrate that you have excellent communication and people skills, and have an understanding of the diverse needs of children and young people. Any experience of working with children and young people is essential, whether as part of student placement or out of work activities.
This role will be ideal for a Physiotherapist looking to develop their skills working with Children and Young People with developmental and complex needs across community and school settings, therefore we are looking for someone with a real passion for seeing children and young people reach their potential.
Our core working hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 - 17:00 but we can offer someflexibility around this. The role will involve some travel but also offers opportunities for flexible working.
Take responsibility for a dedicated caseload and clinical role.
Carry out clinical assessments within your level of clinical knowledge and skill.
Identifyrelevant therapy needs from which you can develop and deliver an individualised management plan, with support from a senior therapist as needed.
Contribute to and deliver training to schools/early years setting, parents, CYP and staff, as part of therapy support and delivery.
Contribute to the implementation and development of the impact-based model of clinical decision making.
Work collaboratively with education, local authority, medical and nursing staff to ensure delivery of a coordinated integrated service along withSpeech and Languageand Occupational Therapy colleagues.
