We are recruiting for an Overseas Payroll Team Leader and Subject Matter Expert to join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary.

Join our Retail Operations team and play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payments for our customers across non-UK jurisdictions. As an Overseas Payroll Team Leader you’ll lead a team of specialists, provide expert guidance and drive continuous improvement to deliver exceptional service and compliance.

What you’ll be doing
  • Managing a team of overseas payroll specialists and supporting their development
  • Overseeing non-UK payment processing and income tax reporting to agreed standards
  • Providing expert technical support and acting as a point of escalation for complex queries
  • Coaching and motivating team members to achieve performance and quality objectives
  • Ensuring compliance with legislative, regulatory and internal processes
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives across payroll operations
  • Delivering training and sharing knowledge to maintain high service standards
  • Embedding Conduct Risk principles to ensure good customer outcomes
Qualifications
  • Strong leadership experience with the ability to engage and influence others
  • Proven knowledge of UK and non-UK payroll regulations and tax requirements
  • Experience in Crown territory reporting and PAYE processing
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple queries effectively
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities
  • Collaborative team player with a focus on customer service
  • Adaptability and commitment to continuous improvement
