Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking a dedicated Nightshift Manager to lead a store overnight, delivering replenishment, organising the warehouse and ensuring shelves are fully stocked for the morning. You’ll oversee the full shift, guarantee safety and wellbeing of colleagues, and coach the team to maintain high service standards.

In this role you’ll drive performance, manage disciplinary and scheduling tasks, and ensure KPIs are met.

Qualifications

• Brilliant customer service track record.
• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Operational leadership including responsibility in the absence of more senior managers.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed KPIs (sales, availability, customer satisfaction).
• Experience managing employee relations, including performance and absence management.
• Desirable: night shift experience in a high-volume, operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead overnight replenishment and prioritise deliveries, organise the warehouse and replenish shelves.
• Run full store operation overnight and ensure safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
• Maintain high standards to be ready for customers in the morning.
• Manage performance, scheduling, and pay accuracy.
