Job summary

Sainsbury's is recruiting a Nightshift Manager to lead a dedicated overnight team, coordinating replenishment, warehouse organisation, and prioritising deliveries to ensure shelves are ready for morning trade.

In this full-time role you’ll be responsible for the full shift, safety and wellbeing of colleagues, and coaching staff to sustain high customer service and KPI performance, including managing disciplinaries and attendance when needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated track record of delivering brilliant customer service and coaching colleagues.
• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment and driving performance.
• Operational leadership in the absence of more senior managers.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed KPIs such as sales, availability, customer satisfaction and colleague engagement.
• Experience managing employee relations issues, including performance and absence management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a night shift team to manage replenishment and warehouse organisation, prioritising deliveries and shelving.
• Oversee the full store operation at night, ensuring safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
• Ensure standards are excellent by morning to serve customers.
• Manage scheduling, discipline, and pay accuracy for the night team.
