Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking an experienced nightshift manager to lead store operations on a full-time night shift. You will oversee replenishment, organise the warehouse, and ensure shelves are stocked while safeguarding the team.

You’ll also drive performance, coach colleagues, and maintain KPI targets across sales and availability. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, with responsibility for the full shift and a strong focus on customer service and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Proven ability to coach colleagues and deliver strong customer service.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs across sales, availability and customer satisfaction.
• Experience managing employee relations including performance and absence management.
• Ability to lead operations and manage shifts in a nightstore setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team overnight to deliver replenishment and organise deliveries.
• Run full store operations overnight, ensuring safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
• Ensure standards are high by morning to serve customers effectively.
• Manage scheduling, performance and disciplinary issues as needed.
