Job summary

Sainsbury's is looking for a nightshift manager to lead an overnight replenishment team, driving efficiency and stock accuracy while yourself prioritising deliveries and organising the warehouse.

You’ll be responsible for the full shift, safeguarding colleagues and ensuring excellent customer service come morning. The role focuses on KPI delivery, performance coaching, and disciplinary process where needed. A £4,500 premium is paid on top of base salary for night shifts.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading teams in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Experience delivering strong customer service and coaching colleagues.
• Experience in managing performance and absence issues.
• Ability to lead operations in overnight shifts with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead overnight replenishment and prioritise deliveries, organise the warehouse and replenish shelves.
• Oversee the full store operation during the night, ensuring safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
• Ensure standards are excellent by morning for customers.
• Manage performance, disciplinaries, scheduling and payroll accuracy.
