A supportive educational organization is seeking an Outreach Tutor to provide personalized one-to-one teaching for a 13-year-old in care. The role involves delivering tailored sessions in core subjects and building positive relationships with the student and their foster family. Candidates should have strong Maths and English skills, a background in working with young people, and the ability to adapt teaching strategies. Flexible hours and consistent placements are available, with immediate starts across Medway.
Location: Benfleet
Pay: £22‑£25/hour (Unqualified) | From £26‑£30/hour (Qualified Teachers/Tutors)
Schedule: Monday to Friday minimum 3 days. Full or Part Time
Making a lasting impact—one learner at a time. We are seeking a compassionate educator who will provide personalised one‑to‑one teaching to a thirteen‑year‑old currently in care. You will support her confidence and foundation skills before she transitions to a school through our partner Alternative Education Service. You will engage with her interests such as horse riding and TV programmes to build trust and engagement for future education. You may work in a pupil’s home, a local library, or an education setting. Additional students can be referred to you as well.
