Recruit So Simple Ltd in Manchester is seeking a Maintenance Co-ordinator (Out of Hours) for a 16-week temporary contract, 19 hours per week, weekend shifts 8am–6pm. You will oversee emergency maintenance jobs from logging to completion, ensuring timely updates to tenants and client criteria are followed.

On shift with the Property Manager, you will deploy contractors, monitor spend caps, chase progress and keep real-time records.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance co-ordination, dispatch, facilities or job scheduling.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage several live jobs.
• Confident communication with contractors, tenants and colleagues.
• Accurate, timely record keeping and reporting.
• Sound judgement under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and manage all open maintenance jobs with prompt first action.
• Ensure every open job has a documented progress attempt.
• Deploy contractors according to client emergency criteria and spend limits.
• Check client spend caps on every dispatch and avoid exceeding limits.
• Communicate with contractors by phone and email, including the shared inbox.
• Keep tenants updated on arrival times and proactively contact for longer jobs.
• Record every action accurately and in real time, completing call records promptly.
• Flag delays, cost concerns and escalations to the Property Manager on shift.
