Job Overview

This is a great opportunity to join Aneurin Bevan University Health Board’s Organisational Development Team. You would be part of a team aiming to transform healthcare in line with the recently launched People plan and the Health Boards 10 Year Strategy, Gwent 35. Our OD function is focussed on promoting workplace development, innovation and culture change. Main duties of the job
  • Design, deliver and evaluate organisational development programmes in line with the organisation’s strategic priorities.
  • Manage and contribute to the design, delivery and evaluation of core organisational processes. These may include statutory mandatory training, corporate induction, PADR, culture change programmes or values and behaviours.
  • Work in partnership with leaders and teams across the organisation.
  • Triage requests for support from the OD team to assess the level of support an individual or team requires.
  • Manage projects in collaboration with colleagues from the OD Team. These may include agendas relating to staff engagement, recognition, retention, career development, statutory and mandatory training, PADR, leadership or culture and behaviour change.
  • Design and conduct effective monitoring and evaluation processes to promote learning, service improvement and compliance audit or regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to large scale cultural and behaviour change programmes.
  • Design, deliver and evaluate workshops.
  • Line manage staff in line with the organisational policies and procedures.
  • Coach individuals and teams.
  • Support and embed the organisation’s values and behaviours framework.
  • Promote psychological safety, trust, collaboration and the principles of compassionate leadership throughout the organisation.
  • Engage and work collaboratively with clinical and corporate teams to support and enhance the core objectives of the organisation.

Qualifications And Knowledge
Essential criteria
  • Appropriate professional registration or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant education to master's level or equivalent demonstrable level of knowledge and experience.
  • Knowledge of the wider NHS & its strategic partners.
  • Understanding of current national drivers influencing service.
Desirable criteria
  • Recognised OD qualification.
  • Project management qualification.
  • Recognised coaching qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience of change management in complex organisations.
Skills and Attributes

  • ESR & OLM superuser/admin user.
