Job description
Organisational Development Officer (Learning & Development) – INTERNAL ONLY

Reporting into the Organisational Development Deputy Director and receiving line‑management support from the Organisational Development Programme Manager (Leadership, Learning & Development), the post holder will be expected to provide exemplary administration, professional stakeholder management, and deliver insightful reporting and insights.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Administrative oversight of all learning and development portfolio.
  • Serve as the main point of contact with external delivery partners—setting up courses, managing adverts, meeting suppliers for masterclasses, and coordinating programmes and events.
  • Track and monitor the Organisational Development budget.
  • Produce weekly and termly reports on course sign‑ups and utilisation.
  • Provide administrative support for other Organisational Development activities.

Essential Criteria
  • Experience supporting development courses, programmes, and activities throughout their life cycle.
  • Comfortable building and maintaining relationships with internal and external key stakeholders.
  • Track record of excellent administration and managing systems and procedural operations.
  • Experience collecting and analysing feedback, and producing detailed professional reports.
  • Knowledge of event or project management from design through to delivery and evaluation.
  • Ability to deliver engaging and impactful communications to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Clear comprehension of MS Office packages and digital confidence around enterprise systems.
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience working in Organisational Development or a staff development function.
  • Formal project management, communications or event management qualification.
  • Knowledge of budget management best practice or prior experience supporting budget holders.
Contract & Salary

This is a full‑time role (35 hours per week) on a fixed‑term contract until 28/08/2026 or until the return of the substantive post holder.
