The Royal Society of Chemistry is seeking an experienced Organisation Design Specialist to join us on a 12 month contract. You will be joining our People and Culture team during an exciting period of transformation across the whole organisation.

About the Role

We're establishing internal Organisation Design capability to support our growth strategy while maintaining efficiency. You'll play a crucial role in designing and implementing our future operating model and organisational structure.

We are looking for someone who will bring Enterprise TOM expertise and the critical ability to design the processes, frameworks and ways of working that will contribute to making our new operating model sustainable.

This position offers the opportunity to provide hands‑on expertise across the full programme lifecycle from analysis and design through to implementation while building internal capability within our team.

What You'll Do
  • Analyse complex organisational challenges and design effective solutions for our Target Operating Model
  • Develop high‑quality Organisation Design solutions in collaboration with business stakeholders
  • Create and deliver comprehensive implementation plans managing interdependencies and timelines
  • Build organisational capability through stakeholder engagement mentorship and knowledge sharing
  • Provide expert guidance on change management and facilitate seamless transitions
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and advise senior leaders on Organisation Design

This role is contractually based at our Cambridge or London office.
