Job summary

Adecco in Chesterfield is seeking an Order Management Administration Lead to supervise the administrative function within a busy warehouse operation. You will lead a team of administrators to deliver efficiency, accuracy and customer satisfaction while maintaining compliance with procedures.

The role requires logistics experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, and a track record of coaching staff. You will coordinate orders, manage export documentation and collaborate with freight forwarders

Qualifications

• Experience in administration within operations, logistics or distribution.
• Experience leading or mentoring a team.
• Strong understanding of administrative processes, inventory controls, and operational compliance.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prioritise orders and workflow to ensure operational and customer service requirements are achieved.
• Oversee the shipment of goods to international customers, ensuring compliance with export regulations and company procedures.
• Manage the preparation of export documentation and collaborate with freight forwarders and customs authorities.
• Achieve performance objectives related to accuracy, productivity, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
• Train, coach, and develop team members while ensuring compliance with company policies and Health & Safety standards.
• Contribute to the enhancement of administrative processes and procedures throughout the operation.
• Maintain accurate records related to attendance, training, and departmental activities.
