Job summary

Team: Operations Support

Location: Remote with possible requirement for South‑East England site travel

Work pattern: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: Up to £30,809.83 per year

Contract: 12 months FTC

Responsibilities of our Operations System Support Advisor
  • Provide training and support to volunteers and employees in the use of some of Cats Protection’s operational systems
  • Provide excellent first‑line professional support for these systems and wider operational delivery
  • Communicate effectively with volunteers to ensure compliance with the charity’s policies and standards in addition to understanding and meeting the volunteers’ needs
  • Monitor several internal operational support mailboxes, process daily email enquiries, deliver remote support and advice in a professional manner
  • Maintain and update processes and guidelines relating to several of the charity’s operational systems
  • Provide system data when requested and work with other departments when required to deliver system data, information and support
About the Operations Support team
  • A small team of Operations System Support Advisors, with specific regional responsibility
  • Have a flexible approach to facilitate the support, development and delivery of the expanding system criteria, to meet the charity’s strategic aims
  • Provide the necessary guidance and training to our volunteers and employees with remote support to enable the understanding and use of our systems
  • Maintain and update processes and guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with each other and with wider teams to support and develop system development
What we’re looking for in our Operations System Support Advisor
  • Confident using Microsoft Office programmes – Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Experience using databases, CRM or related systems
  • Experience of presenting and explaining technical or complex information to audiences with a range of abilities
  • Customer service background
  • Hold a full, valid UK driving licence and be able to travel if required
