We have a fantastic new opportunity for a dynamic and experienced hands-on leader to take our portfolio of UK managed pubs to new heights. As Operations Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our pubs, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, driving profitability, and fostering a culture of excellence among our teams.

Reporting to the COO, you will oversee all aspects of pub operations, identify opportunities for growth and expansion, and develop and implement strategies to optimise revenue, control costs, and maximise profitability across all our pubs.

We are looking for a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced multi-site environment where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to enhance our competitive position in the market.

Responsibilities

• Have proven experience in a senior management role within the hospitality industry, with a strong track record of success in operations management
• Be strategic, commercial, and highly driven to achieve and exceed goals, a passionate and authentic leader who will align their team to achieve success
• Have a solid understanding of financial management, with the ability to analyse financial data and make data-driven commercial decisions
• Be commercial astute, differentiating our pubs in the market by developing distinct brands for all pubs, each with its own unique identity, ambiance, and offerings
• Be able to flex comfortably between tactical / operational detail and long-term strategic planning
• Be comfortable with leading through change, whilst managing, improving, and optimising operational values across the existing estate
• Demonstrate previous success in enhancing and driving guest satisfaction through service standards strategy & delivery
• Be obsessed with financial performance and implement / enforce cost control measures to maximise profitability
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and licensing requirements by staying up to date with industry regulations and implement policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance at all times
