A leading global engineering firm is seeking an Operational Road Safety Engineer in Stevenage. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting road safety audits, ensuring compliance with national and international standards, and promoting safety culture across multidisciplinary teams. Operational Road Safety Engineer – Stevenage. As a Road Safety Engineer within our Aviation, Rail and Technology group, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, high‑quality infrastructure solutions across the UK and internationally. With a strong foundation in health, safety and environmental legislation, you will bring technical excellence to every stage of design – ensuring that operational safety reviews, road safety audits, risk assessments and governance processes meet the highest standards.
You will actively promote a culture of safety aligned with Jacobs' values, collaborating across multidisciplinary teams and engaging with clients and stakeholders to deliver outcomes that prioritise wellbeing and sustainability. Your attention to detail and proactive mindset will help shape safer transport networks and contribute to the continuous improvement of our safety practices.
