Job summary

SSEN Transmission is seeking a Project Manager for the Offshore team to lead underground civil engineering packages for the North West Scotland HVDC Link, delivering on time, safely and within budget.

You will be based in Scotland with 50% in-office time across Inverness, Aberdeen or Perth, report to the Senior PM, manage design, consents, procurement and interfaces with contractors and stakeholders, and ensure compliance with CDM and NEC3 contracts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering civil engineering or linear infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of cable route construction methods and reinstatement works.
• Experience managing projects to CDM and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of underground cable civil engineering packages.
• Manage programme, risk and commercial performance.
• Oversee contractor and supplier performance and procurement activities.
• Coordinate design, consents and stakeholder interfaces.
• Ensure governance and quality standards are met.
