The Role

Optimas is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Onsite Envoy to be based at our customer site, JCB in Rocester. This is a customer-facing role, where you will lead and manage an onsite team responsible for the day-to-day operation of Just-In-Time (JIT) systems, ensuring exceptional service delivery and high operational standards.

As the face of Optimas on site, you will build strong relationships with the customer, attend production meetings, manage stock replenishment and ordering, and ensure all JIT racks and systems meet agreed standards. In addition to supporting JCB, the onsite team also services two additional client sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent Optimas professionally at all times within the customer environment
  • Lead and manage the onsite team, including daily routines, shifts, holidays, and absence
  • Attend customer production meetings as required (potentially daily)
  • Manage JIT systems, including part introductions, removals, replenishment, and ordering
  • Investigate and provide information to customers and internal teams (e.g. part queries, line counts, engineering support)
  • Ensure all racks and cabinets are correctly positioned, labelled, clean, and compliant with health & safety standards
  • Maintain communication regarding new JIT parts, production stock, and samples
  • Manage paperwork, returns, and authorised stock movements back to the warehouse
  • Support additional client sites on a weekly basis
