Job summary

Sainsbury's in Cobham is seeking an Online Store Manager to lead the online picking and delivery team, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for customers both online and in-store. You will coach a large team of shoppers and drivers, driving safety, service quality and operational excellence.

Key duties include collaborating with store managers, managing performance and scheduling, and delivering against KPIs like availability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Brilliant customer service and the ability to coach colleagues to deliver it.
• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Operational leadership with responsibility for store operations in absence of senior managers.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs (sales, availability, satisfaction).
• Experience handling employee relations issues including performance and absence management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and orchestrate the delivery of an online picking and delivery team to ensure in-store online service success.
• Be a visible leader, coaching a large team of shoppers and drivers for a seamless, safe shopping experience.
• Collaborate with other managers to ensure the overall store shopping experience succeeds.
• Manage performance, scheduling, and pay; handle disciplinaries as needed.
