Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking an Intervention Tutor to provide one-to-one support for SEND learners across the UK. You will deliver bespoke, trauma-informed sessions in-person, online, or hybrid, tailoring approaches to each student’s needs and EHCP outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience with SEND/SEMH expertise, QTS/QTLS, and DBS clearance. This self-employed role offers flexible hours and meaningful workmaking a real difference in young people’s lives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD focus.
• QTS/QTLS required.
• Experience delivering bespoke, trauma-informed tutoring is preferred.
• DBS clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with SEND learners across KS1–KS5 as appropriate.
• Deliver 1-1, in-person, online or hybrid tutoring sessions tailored to individual needs.
• Plan and report on lessons, providing regular progress feedback.
