Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking an Intervention Tutor in the United Kingdom to deliver bespoke one-to-one sessions for SEND and SEMH learners, across KS1–KS5 as appropriate. You will develop strong relationships and provide trauma-informed, pupil-centred tutoring both in person and online.

Flexibility is key: choose from in-person, hybrid, or remote teaching, set your schedule with clients, and join a supportive team that values meaningful, impact-driven education and ongoing safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way.
• QTS/QTLS and safe DBS clearance emphasized by employer.
• Based in the UK with right to work, including for remote/online roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with diverse needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan lessons and report progress with regular feedback to parents/schools.
• Deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring tailored to EHCPs and individual risk assessments.
