Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking an Intervention Tutor to deliver bespoke, one-to-one and hybrid tutoring for SEND and SEMH learners across KS1–KS5 in the UK. The role supports pupils with behavioural, emotional, or social needs and focuses on building skills, confidence, and positive attitudes to learning.

You will work with the team to provide trauma-informed, student-centred sessions, with flexible hours and remote/online options, joining a mission-driven community dedicated to SEND Learners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD in a holistic approach.
• QTS or QTLS qualification required.
• Holistic, trauma-informed approach to teaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 and small-group tutoring to SEND/SEMH learners.
• Plan and report lessons with regular progress updates.
• Provide flexible in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring.
• Support students across KS1–KS5 as appropriate to skills and availability.
• Contribute to safeguarding and create a safe learning environment.
