Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking an Intervention Tutor to deliver bespoke one-to-one support for SEND and SEMH learners across KS1–KS5 in the UK. You will design engaging, trauma-informed sessions that re-engage students and build confidence.

Roles are self-employed with flexible in-person, hybrid and remote options, allowing you to tailor your schedule with parents, carers, or schools. A background in SEND and QTS/QTLS is preferred, with safeguarding compliance prioritized.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND/ SEMH/ MLD/ SLD/ PMLD.
• QTS or QTLS qualification is required.
• UK-based with right to work; enhanced DBS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote and hybrid tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report lessons with regular feedback on progress.
• Coordinate with local authorities and schools for referrals.
