This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sister to take on a senior role within a private hospital setting as an Oncology Manager in Tunbridge Wells.

The role is full time and permanent, offering a salary of £38,000 - £45,000. The ideal candidate should have oncology experience, including the administration of Chemotherapy, and be proficient in Phlebotomy, Cannulation, and Central Venous Access Devices. A Cancer qualification is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have experience of leading a team and will be able to support the Matron in the development and expansion of the Oncology service and the support of junior staff.

The key accountabilities of the role include:

  • Work scheduling/rotas
  • Involvement in recruitment, induction, performance review, attendance management, disciplinary and grievance matters
  • Competency assessment, training, development, and the mentoring of staff
  • Ensuring work is carried out efficiently and to agreed working practice and protocols
