A leading healthcare provider in Warwick is seeking a motivated individual to join their Occupational Therapy team. The role involves assisting with patient care under the supervision of trained Occupational Therapists in a busy hospital environment. Ideal candidates will have experience in healthcare and knowledge of Occupational Therapy practices. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join our friendly and experienced Occupational Therapy team within acute service at Warwick Hospital. You will work under the guidance and supervision of the Occupational Therapists on the medical, trauma, orthopaedic and surgical wards, and as part of a wider Multi-Disciplinary team. You will assist with evaluating the effectiveness of Occupational Therapy input using validated outcome measures and with data management and input. You will liaise with patients, carers, other healthcare professionals and external agencies, requiring excellent communication and team-working skills.
Do you have the ability to multi-task in a busy environment and work using your initiative? You will need to manage your workload flexibly to meet the demands of the service. Experience of working in a healthcare setting and knowledge of Occupational Therapy is preferred.
