Role Purpose

To deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions aligned with North Lincolnshire thresholds, ensuring people receive tailored and timely support. You will also play a key role in promoting independent living, developing staff competencies, and driving innovation within therapy services across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and support the competency development of low-level prescribers

Assist with budget oversight by identifying and reporting risks in line with council procedures

Collaborate with external partners within the Disabled Facilities Grant process

Provide expert clinical advice and guidance on moving and handling practices

Design and deliver specialist training to diverse staff groups

Support team managers and colleagues through coaching and mentoring to drive performance and service improvement

Contribute to the promotion of the Independent Living Service across North Lincolnshire

Keep up-to-date with evidence-based practice and share knowledge across the service

HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist
