What You Will Do
  • Provide specialist occupational therapy support for adults and children with physical and learning disabilities.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop, review, and monitor individualised care plans.
  • Deliver preventative interventions focused on promoting independence and improving quality of life.
  • Recommend, prescribe, and implement equipment and home adaptations to support independent living.
  • Offer expert advice and training on moving and handling techniques.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers, nurses, and physiotherapists.
  • Monitor client progress, reviewing and adjusting care plans in line with evolving needs.
Requirements
  • HCPC Registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working with adults and/or children with learning and physical disabilities.
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills with a focus on independence and inclusion.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
