A regional healthcare provider in Colchester is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist/Senior Physiotherapist to join their dedicated team. We are looking for an experienced, motivated clinician to join our team. You will be a registered Occupational Therapist / Senior Physiotherapist with demonstrable expertise in discharge planning, supporting patients to become experts in their own care and to remain in their own homes.
It is expected that you will have excellent communication skills, enjoy working with a variety of service users of different age groups, have good self-management skills and an ability to prioritise your case load. You should ideally have experience of working in a variety of clinical settings with sound medical, respiratory and social knowledge.
This post has 7 day working, in a 4 week pattern, with x2 days off prior to or after the weekend. Periods of requiring you to work 10:00-18:00 Mon-Fri once every 8 weeks.
Required: Registered Occupational Therapist / Senior Physiotherapist with expertise in discharge planning and experience in diverse clinical settings.
Preferred: Experience in managing a caseload, supervising junior staff, and working within multidisciplinary teams.
