What you will do
  • Conduct high-quality assessments of children and young people to identify their needs and recommend therapeutic interventions.
  • Use your advanced specialist knowledge in areas such as motor, perceptual, and sensory integration to enhance the wellbeing and functionality of the young people.
  • Provide line management and clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants and support newly qualified Occupational Therapists.
  • Engage collaboratively with educational and care staff to develop personalised, effective plans of support.
  • Write and quality assure comprehensive reports, ensuring they meet professional guidelines and contribute to the Education Health and Care plan requirements.
  • Participate actively in service and practice development, and contribute to training sessions for staff, parents, and carers.
  • Maintain accurate online records in compliance with confidentiality and data protection laws.
  • Participate in learning and development programmes, keeping up-to-date with best practices and extending your professional knowledge.
  • Play a key role in the Group’s Staff Development Programme, attending regular clinical and line management supervision.
