Job description

Job Title: Occupational Hygienist. Location: Dartford, Kent. Salary / Benefits £25k – £45k + Training + Benefits

A renowned and privately owned Environmental Consultancy who has a strong presence in the South East are now seeking to employ an experienced Occupational Hygienist. You will be joining an established and longstanding Occupational Hygiene department covering Commercial and Industrial contracts undertaking air monitoring assessments, indoor air quality testing and Local Exhaust Ventilation examinations. You will also be responsible for providing clients with excellent support and advice on further action to be taken based on inspection findings. Applicants will hold several years experience within the occupational hygiene industry and must be happy to travel as part of the role. Experience & Qualifications

• Will at a minimum hold 1-2 BOHS modules in relation to Occupational Hygiene (W501, W505, P601)
• Experience working on Industrial and Commercial sites.
• Will have an occupational hygiene background, working for an established environmental company.
• Experience working as a Lead Occupational Hygienist would be beneficial to the role.
• Excellent understanding of technical data, able to write detailed technical reports.
• IT Literate.
• Able to manage work schedule and able to work to client deadlines.
• Fully conversant on Health and Safety guidelines.

The Role

• Indoor air quality, emissions, and legionella testing.
• Ensuring work conducted complies with Health and Safety Guidelines.
• Using information from site to produce detailed reports and drawings for clients.
• Liasing with clients, providing excellent consultancy advice and support.
• Ensuring work is completed in line with agreed timeframe.
• Getting involved in training other occupational hygienists.
