Overview

This care provider is committed to delivering exceptional Nursing and Dementia Care across its homes. With a supportive managerial team and a strong focus on building lasting relationships with staff, residents, families, and local authorities, the organisation is now seeking an experienced Nursing Home Manager to lead one of its established homes in Edinburgh.

Responsibilities
  • To bring stability, strong clinical oversight, and the ability to inspire and align a dedicated team.
  • To take overall responsibility for the safe, effective, and person-centred running of the home.
  • Lead, motivate, and support a strong staff team, embedding a positive and collaborative culture.
  • Ensure the highest standards of care, dignity, and independence for residents.
  • Manage budgets, compliance, care planning, and safeguarding.
  • Provide clear managerial direction and build strong relationships with staff, families, and local authorities.
  • Oversee clinical governance, medication management, and CQC compliance.
  • Work closely with regional managers and directors to deliver long-term objectives for the home.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Home Manager within elderly nursing and dementia care.
  • Strong leadership and managerial qualities, particularly in guiding and instructing staff.
  • NMC PIN is strongly desirable, with excellent clinical knowledge.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to fit into and positively influence staff culture.
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations with evidence of good outcomes in previous inspections.
  • Ability to build excellent relationships with local authorities and external professionals.
  • Eligible to live and work in the UK.
