A healthcare provider in Great Yarmouth is looking for a Band 4 Assistant Practitioner/Nursing Associate to support service users experiencing psychosis. The role involves physical health screenings, organizing clinics, and providing recovery support. Candidates should have a Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care and be a Registered Nursing Associate. The position offers a salary between £27,485 and £30,162 gross annually, along with various benefits including training and development opportunities.
We have an opportunity for a Band 4 Assistant Practitioner/Nursing Associate to join our friendly and supportive team on a 13 month fixed term or secondment basis.
We work with people from 14-65 years old who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis.
We are based at Northgate Hospital, but cover the Great Yarmouth and Waveney area, including Lowestoft and Beccles.

To support service users in physical health screening and delivery of a range of physical health interventions, including physical observations, ECGs, phlebotomy (or a willingness to undertake appropriate training) for people presenting with mental health problems.
The role requires good organisational skills to plan and organise running regular physical health clinics or home visits to ensure our service users are supported.
Alongside this, there is the opportunity to support service users around social recovery and be a valued team member.
