About our Nursery

Busy Bees East Grinstead, rated Good by Ofsted, has a capacity of 88 children and features a longstanding team dedicated to providing every child with the best start in life. Our manager, who opened the nursery in December 2019, fosters a nurturing and supportive environment. Conveniently located just a 10‑minute walk from the train station, which offers direct links to London, and only a short 5‑minute walk to the town centre, we are also situated opposite a leisure centre. We provide free parking for staff and offer a four‑day working week option, making it an attractive workplace for educators.

Role Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and execution of age‑appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
  • Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment for children.
  • Foster a high‑performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
  • Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring their progress is tracked and communicated with parents.
  • Act as Key Person, ensuring the holistic development and personal care needs of a group of children.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.
Required Qualifications

Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.

Ideal Candidate
  • Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage – ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
  • Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
  • Passionate about fostering children’s development and creating positive relationships with families.
