Nursery Room Leader

Starjumps Nursery Borehamwood

Permanent, Full time (39 Hours per Week)

£26,789.88 p/a (£13.21 p/h)

Overview

Come and join the team! We are looking for a Nursery Room Leader at Starjumps Nursery working with an enthusiastic and friendly team in a setting with a recent ‘Good' Ofsted report.

Key Responsibilities

• You will have responsibility for a specific age group, working within a small team.
• To open and close the nursery at the start and end of the day maintaining staffing levels at all times.
• Line‑managing staff members in the room.
• Contribute and implement nursery policies and procedures, assisting the team members in providing a friendly and caring environment.
• Key worker to children age 6 months to 5 years old.
• Help plan and support the nursery team with planning, providing and taking part in all group activities.
• Work shift patterns between 8am and 6pm.

Qualifications and Experience

• Level 3 Qualification in childcare (essential).
• Knowledge and experience of the EYFS.
• Full awareness of child protection procedures.
• Good knowledge of how to support children and their families with their needs.
• Paediatric first aid trained.
• Applicants may require an enhanced DBS check, dependent on role applied for.
