On behalf of our client, a well-established and welcoming Day Nursery, we are seeking a nursery practitioner to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for a childcare professional who is passionate about supporting young children's development within a nurturing and stimulating environment.

The Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will create engaging learning experiences, build strong relationships with children and families, and work collaboratively as part of a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children in the early years

  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework

  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

  • Contribute to observations, assessments, and planning for individual learning needs

  • Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and inclusion at all times

Candidate Requirements:

  • A recognised childcare qualification (Level 2 or above)

  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • A genuine passion for early years education and supporting children's learning

  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check if you don't already have one on the update service
