Interaction Recruitment is looking for a Nursey Nurse to work at warm and welcoming nurseries across Southampton dedicated to providing high-quality care and early education to children to a number of settings. The Nursey Nurse should believe in fostering a nurturing, engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, and dedicated Nursery Nurse to join their team and contribute to creating a positive and stimulating environment for the children in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children in a setting in their learning and development activities, ensuring a high standard of care is provided.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote children s social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Observe and assess children s progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ensure that safeguarding and health and safety guidelines are followed at all times.
  • Help create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment where children can learn and play.
  • Support the nursery in meeting its statutory obligations, including those related to OFSTED.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Experience working with young children in a childcare or nursery setting is preferred.
  • DBS on the update service or willing to do a new one
  • Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • A positive, proactive approach with a passion for working with children.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
