Job summary

A healthcare organization in Southend-on-Sea is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join their team. You will support the Nursery Team Leaders in creating a safe and stimulating environment for young children. The ideal candidate has a Level 3 qualification and experience in the Early Foundation Stage. Full-time (37.5 hours) or part-time options are available.

Job description

Support the Nursery Team Leaders in providing an environment that offers encouragement and praise for every child.
Develop positive relationships with the children, their parents and members of the nursery team.
You will support the Nursery Team Leaders to create and maintain a safe, warm, caring and stimulating environment that together with encouragement will ensure the development of each child.
Interact with the children in order to support, encourage and observe the children to promote independence and development to enable the child to progress

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and self-motivated Nursery Nurse to join the team on a permanent basis.

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute hospital provider in the Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System (ICS), which is a system of health and care partners working together for our local population.
Within Mid and South Essex there are 149 GP practices, operating from over 200 sites, forming 27 Primary Care Networks and one Ambulance Trust. There are also three main community and mental health service providers who work together through a community collaborative.
We collaborate with other valuable partners, including three Healthwatch organisations, nine voluntary and community sector organisations and three top tier local authorities, with seven district, borough and city councils, as well as our local universities., Here at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust an exciting opportunity has arisen within our Ladybird Nursery., Although the post is full time, 5 days per week, (37.5 hours), we are happy to consider part time hours for the right candidate .
Ideally you will hold a recognized Level 3 qualification and have experience of working within the Early Foundation Stage as a key person.
Located in the grounds of the hospital, Ladybird Nursery is available to staff at the hospital as well as the public and cares for babies and young children under 5.
