Job summary

A childcare provider in Brigg seeks a driven Manager to lead their nursery and ensure a high-quality, child-led approach to education. Candidates should have proven experience in managing a childcare facility and be keen to promote teamwork and community spirit. Knowledge of safeguarding and Health & Safety is essential. The role offers a minimum of 35 hours per week with competitive salary based on 40 hours. GCSE or equivalent in Maths is required or to be completed within 24 months.

Leap Ahead Southfield (Brigg) is a beautiful, small nursery located in the small market town of Brigg providing 27 places for children under school age.

We are looking for a driven, motivated Manager who will embed the company's ethos around providing a high quality, child-led approach to early years childcare & education, where holistic opportunities are given for children to develop a lifelong love of learning around the companies educational programme.

The ideal candidate will already have proven experience in running a childcare facility, be capable of following established policies & procedures, working alongside an experience Senior Management team. However, the company feels this could also be an ideal opportunity for a current deputy to take that jump into managing their own setting, due to the company's development & training programme. We will be more than happy to have an informal chat with anyone interested in progressing in their Early Years career.

Safeguarding experience is essential as well as a knowledge of SEN & Health & Safety. A proven desire to promote teamwork within the Leap Ahead 'family', embed a sustainability ethos & a sense of community with everyone who uses the nursery.

This position can be based on a min of 35+ hours per week & is an all year round position.

Salary posted is based on 40 hours per week/52 weeks per year.

PLEASE NOTE DUE TO OFSTED REQUIREMENTS, MANAGERS MUST HAVE A GCSE OR EQUIVALENT IN MATHS or be prepared to undertake & complete this within 24 months at their own cost.
