Overview

The Nursery Chef takes responsibility and leads independently the deliverance of foods in line with Safer Food Better Business environmental health practice. They oversee all the health and food safety standards for the setting. They are to offer full and practical support in the day to day running of the setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prep and provide a two-course hot meal with dessert twice daily: AM Meals (11 O’clock) and PM Meals (3 O’clock).
• Ensure Safer Food Better Business environmental health practice and oversee all health and food safety standards for the setting.
• Offer full and practical support in the day-to-day running of the setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum level 2 diploma in food safety/catering, equivalent or higher to apply for this position.
• Full and relevant experience working in the food and/or catering industry.
