This is an exceptional Clinical Leadership opportunity for an ambitious Nurse or clinical professional to fully own and manage a high‑quality supported living service. You will oversee two single‑occupancy sites in Lancing, supporting adults with complex needs, including Autism, Learning Disabilities, and Epilepsy.

Key Highlights
  • Clinical Focus: This is a supernumerary role, dedicated entirely to leading, mentoring, and developing the service, not filling staff rotas.
  • Influence & Quality: Drive CQC excellence and maintain a truly “bespoke” model of person‑centred care from day one.
  • Career Pathway: Offers a defined route into broader Clinical Leadership and potential Registered Manager status as the provider expands across Sussex and Hampshire.
The Organisation

Values‑Driven & People‑Focused Our client is a highly respected, privately owned provider committed to being an employer of choice. Their ethos is built on investment in people and delivering ‘Bespoke’ truly tailored care.

  • Support Structure: Benefit from hands‑on senior management and robust support from dedicated on‑site teams and Head Office base in Sussex.
  • Commitment to Excellence: The organisation continually invests in training, clinical quality, and values its leaders.
Your Mission: Operational & Clinical Governance

As the Supported Living Manager, you will serve as both the operational lead and the Clinical Anchor for both sites.

Core Responsibilities
  • Clinical Governance: Provide essential clinical oversight, driving high standards in protocols, competency, and training across specialist services.
  • Operational Leadership: Ensure the safe, effective, and truly person‑centred support is delivered consistently across both sites.
  • CQC & Quality: Lead on CQC compliance (Single Assessment Framework), audits, action plans, and continuous service improvement.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Build strong relationships with residents, families, MDTs, commissioners, and community partners.
  • Team Development: Lead, coach, and mentor your on‑site teams, supported by a Deputy Manager.
Essential Criteria required from you

We are seeking a proactive, values‑led leader with a passion for complex care:

  • Clinical Qualification: NMC‑registered Nurse (RGN/RNLD/RMN) with a live PIN. (Strong non‑nursing clinical backgrounds with relevant complex care management experience will be considered.)
  • Management Experience: Proven leadership/management experience in Supported Living, Community LD/Autism, or Complex Care.
  • Regulatory Expertise: Deep understanding of safeguarding and CQC regulations (Single Assessment Framework).
  • Mobility: Full UK driving licence and own vehicle are essential for site travel and community engagement.
  • Desirable: Familiarity with Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) models.

  • Compensation: Top percentile pay rate for this role – salary plus a discretionary annual bonus.
  • Time Off: Generous 31 days’ annual holiday (including Bank Holidays).
  • Security: Life insurance and access to private medical cover post‑probation.
  • Development: Structured induction, ongoing CPD, and a clear, defined progression pathway into broader Clinical Leadership.
  • Financial: Company contributory pension scheme.
